Cambridge & IELTS
BLTC is an authorised Cambridge English exam centre and a British Council IELTS Test Centre in the Netherlands.

Preparation for B1 Preliminary, B2 First, C1 Advanced and C2 Proficiency, including face-to-face and online courses.

IELTS preparation
Exam preparation covers reading, listening, speaking and writing, with strategies, practice and feedback for Academic IELTS and support for General Training where relevant.
Current 2026 IELTS preparation courses are offered face-to-face and online, with minimum level requirements generally around B2+.
Practical language for international work
BLTC designs goal-oriented Business English programmes for professionals and companies. Courses may be delivered in-company or at the centre.

Teacher training & CELTA
Teacher development is a long-standing part of BLTC’s work, including Cambridge CELTA and specialist programmes.
CELTA
Cambridge CELTA has been offered at BLTC since 1997. Full-time and part-time routes are available.
2026 fee: €1,995 including Cambridge assessment fee.
Part-time format
12-week format, typically one full day plus one half-day per week, designed to fit around professional commitments.
Full-time format
4 intensive consecutive weeks with weekday attendance. The programme includes at least 120 contact hours plus substantial additional learning time.

BLTC has been providing English and Dutch language training, testing and consultancy for around four decades.
